This Friday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m., artists Laura Nova and Theresa Loong, will be waiting in white aprons next to an airline stewardess’s cart, offering our cinnamon-sugar doughnuts to anyone passing through the island’s point of embarkation as part of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty national monument’s first artist-in-residence program.
Polo star Nic Roldan loving our heart shaped donuts, which we donated to a dinner benefiting Rally for Kids, a charity that helps kids with cancer. Nic was one of the hosts along with chef David Martin.
